Swimming in St George
When we went to St George for our 8 year anniversary, it was so warm that we spent a lot of time swimming. Here are a few pictures.Lagoon
Here are a few pictures of the kids at Lagoon. They had a blast! Allison liked the "calm" rides like the Merry Go Round and the Cars, while Samuel was more than thrilled to ride the Puff Dragon Roller Coaster, the Mini Tidal Wave, and the "exciting" rides.The St George Temple Visitors Center
Here we are at the St George Temple visitors center. Russ and I went here for our 2nd anniversary and had our picture taken at this exact spot. Allison's first day of Preschool!
Today was Allison's first day of Preschool! She had a GREAT time! She is going to the same Preschool that her Uncle Chad and Uncle Zach went to! Her Grandma Gines took her a few weeks ago and bought her and Kenzie a backpack for school. At school today she said she sang a Welcome Friends song of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and that it was weird! She loved tracing her name, coloring, meeting new friends, and playing on the playground. She is going to the same class as her cousin, Kenzie, and her friends Braxton and Sage are in the same class too! She's really excited to go back on Tuesday! She didn't have any problems leaving me for the afternoon, and has actually been looking forward to it forever! My sweet little baby is growing SO fast, and I can NOT believe she's already going to school!
Twinkle! for dinner
Samuel's absolute favorite song right now is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Whenever we wrap him in his blanket to go to sleep, he smiles and says "Twinkle!" Then we get to sing it a hundred times. After every phrase he'll say "Up A" to tell you what part is next. It's so cute!Well, last night we went to Carls Jr for dinner (kids eat free on Wed nights!), and their chicken nuggest are shaped like stars. He was so excited to be eating Twinkle for dinner! It was so cute! Allison got a kick out of him and just giggled.
