Wee Witches Weekend!

This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday is the Wee Witches Weekend at Gardner Village! It's from 10am to 8pm all three days, October 16th 17th and 18th. Russ and I will be there DJing it all three days. Samuel - learning to shoot!

One morning after sleeping at Grandpa's house, grandpa taught Samuel how to shoot the rubber band gun. Samuel had a BLAST!

Why did the chicken cross the road? No, really!

The other day driving down the road, a CHICKEN ran right in front of us as it crossed the road. Russ immediately yelled out "Hey! Why did the chicken cross the road?!" We laughed and laughed and laughed! We still don't know why the chicken crossed the road, but I think seeing it cross the road brings us one step closer to learning why. I guess that's just one of life's neverending questions!

What do we do before bedtime?

Our home teacher was over the other night, and he was trying to teach the kids about prayer. He asked, "What do we do before we go to bed?" The kids thought really hard, and Samuel's eyes lit up with the answer. He said "Get one more drink!"

Shoes and Spiders

The other day, Allison found a spider crawling in her bedroom. She came running franticly into my closet to find one of my "big shoes" to squash it. She pulled out my tennis shoes, and said "MOM! I need this to squash a spider! Do you ever wear these!?" And I replied "Yes, I wear them when I go work out or go running", to which she replied, "Oh, so you never do?" "Ok, Allison, I never do. You can use them to squash the spider!" Russ thought that was pretty funny!

"FUN" at the Dentist?!

Allison had a cavity filled today, and LOVES her dentist! He always gives her fun little prizes, and also lets Samuel pick one out too! She has never been scared to go to the dentist! Here they are with the "prizes" they picked out.

Museum

We had a blast at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point! It was crowded and crazy, but fun!

Dollar Store FUN!

The kids found these fun costumes at Dollar Tree, and decided to get a little "practice" trick or treating in at Grandpa's Shop!
